I found this old 2009 interview with Joseph for BBC Beds, Herts and Bucks 'Loving life in small-town Berko', promoting Judgment Day at The Almeida.

Love Never Dies was nominated for 7 Olivier Awards this morning, sadly with no acting nomination for Joseph. Check the Olivier Awards website for full details.

Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Love Never Dies and Thea Sharrock’s production of Terence Rattigan’s After The Dance lead the nominations in the 2011 Laurence Olivier Awards, announced today.

Love Never Dies, which continued The Phantom Of The Opera story with its arrival at the Adelphi theatre last March, leads the musicals pack with seven nominations including Best New Musical and recognition for its stars Sierra Boggess, Ramin Karimloo and Summer Strallen.

The BBC Press Office have announced the broadcast date for Joseph's recently recorded Radio 3 Drama, Danton's Death.

Drama On 3 – Danton's Death

Sunday 13 February 8.00-9.30pm BBC RADIO 3

As part of BBC Radio 3's special focus on Georg Buchner, Simon Scardfield adapts Buchner's radical retelling of the fallout of the French Revolution. It's 1794, and a new France is being born from the reign of terror that characterised the worst of the Revolution. Charismatic hedonist Danton, still tormented by his role in the killing of 1,400 aristocrats in a single night, is losing his grip on power. His political rival, the sober and focused Robespierre, is in the ascendant, and – with his efficient sidekick St Just – has power over Danton's fate. But can Danton care enough to fight the terror that he himself set in motion?

Joseph Millson plays Danton and Khalid Abdalla plays Robespierre.

The director is Jessica Dromgoole.

Two more good reviews have appeared for the re-vamped Love Never Dies. The first from The Independent and the second is from The Express with a mention for Joseph.

Hart has helped to unmask the show’s yearning heart. That is now stunningly articulated in the tender, heartfelt rapport between Karimloo’s Phantom and the shimmering, simmering beauty of Boggess’s Christine. Joseph Millson also brings a dramatic poignancy to the character of Raoul. Just as Raoul cannot compete with the allure of the Phantom, neither can this show ultimately shake off the associations of the masterpiece that it has come from but then again, nor should it. It cannot compete. Instead, it now provides a wonderful, powerful continuation of its potent legacy that is as dramatically alluring as it is musically magnificent.

Don't forget to vote for Joseph and the rest of the cast of Love Never Dies in the What's On Stage Awards!

Broadway World.com have posted a new review of the show's latest incarnation.

I will be absolutely fascinated to know whether Love Never Dies is likely to undergo further alterations before it opens elsewhere; I maintain that without this cast the show would struggle (specifically the connection between Ramin Karimloo and Sierra Boggess, that fine actor Joseph Millson capturing Raoul's desolation, and Summer Strallen making the most of what must have been a thankless task for her as Meg's character seems to change week by week). Stay tuned for the next instalment...

The National Theatre have updated the cast list for Rocket To The Moon, to include Tim Steed, Peter Sullivan and Sebastian Armesto. They have not yet added to the booking period, which Joseph told me will initially book until end of April / beginning of May. The Arts Desk have picked up on the production, but fail to note that it is Keeley's stage debut as well as her National Theatre debut.

The new series of Campus is mentioned in The Stage's recent article on the top 20 most influential people in Broadcasting.

The Independent's Kate Bassett has listed Rocket To The Moon in her 2011 critical list.

The one to watch: Jessica Raine, having caught the eye in edgy teenage roles, will star in Clifford Odets' Rocket to the Moon at the NT in March. She plays the ferocious seductress Cleo Singer, sending Joseph Millson's repressed Ben Stark into a spin.

Theatre critic Mark Shenton saw Love Never Dies again yesterday, and tweeted some excellent feedback.

LOVE NEVER DIES has definitely had major structural & emotional improvements; now there's more investment in characters & their journeys...

...Joseph Millson (@josephmillson) brings dramatic heft to Raoul that was never there for the character in the original Phantom.
